I decided to stop in Lampang while taking the bus from Phisanulok to Chiang Mai. It's a nice quiet town that is well know for it's horse drawn carts. Unfortunately, I somehow managed to not take any pictures of infamous horse carts...
The streets are very narrow, and not too busy.
There's a gate, sort of like a Chinatown gate, but it's definitely not Chinatown.
It's a typical small provincial town, like so many others I've been to. I think the flower thing in the middle of the river is from Loi Kratong.
While walking around the city, I came across this temple complex.
It is well kept, and not too busy.
Many of the street signs around town have these little horse cart on top of them.
There were several cute houses outside of town. I could live here.
Wat Phra Kaew... but not the one you know in bangkok. I guess the Emerald Buddha spent some time here in the past.
